A quick setup, then you’re ready.

Install, allow microphone access, and try dictation. Speech recognition is included. No account or separate model download.

Why does it need Accessibility access?

Accessibility enables Right Command and lets Buddhi Box insert your words into other apps. Without that access, use Option + Space in copy mode, then paste your words. Keep Buddhi Box running to use your key.

Will it work in every text field?

Automatic insertion depends on the app and field. If it can’t insert your words, use Copy last dictation, then paste into your field.

What happens when I’m not using it?

The speech model unloads after five idle minutes to free its memory. It reloads when you dictate again, so the next transcription takes longer. Keep the app running to use your shortcut.

Is Dictation the whole idea?

It’s the first app. The vision is useful local AI for everyday tasks, with each app doing one thing well. Dictation is what you can download today.
